My baby niece Daniella is being baptised this weekend. So I did what I do for any occasion, I made a card. There is more to this story......
I have, since my first card-making days admired those BEAUTIFUL silky circular flowers, but assumed they were store bought.

This is the type I'm talking about. This one, from an older project of mine, is from an on-line store. I have tried, and tried to duplicate it. Never even came close. Then I found
this article at The Hybrid Chick. Written by the a-mazingly talented
Clare Buswell. I don't think I've ever been so happy about a tutorial before!! So I (gently) ripped off the ribbon flower that was already on my card, and replaced it with my very own "melted silk" flower. Thank you Clare!!!!

There is still more to this story. Please don't stop reading yet, I'm really hoping for some feedback on this next part!

I made a photo holder out of Sculpey. I've never molded anything before. Other than play-doh with the kids. But the other day, when it was a rainy afternoon, I got out the modelling clay for the kids and the Sculpey for me and made this. Whatdayathink? Either way, I had a fun day with my 3 favourite little people!
