It's Friday Night......

.... and I am livin' it up! Nope, not even close. I'm hanging with my sweet - but has terrible taste in movies - daughter watching Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure. I had to escape all the pink bling and bad acting so here I am. Livy is beside me and keeps muttering things like " Ah, I looooove that dress" or "I'm so getting a dog like that when I'm a teenager." I don't think she even noticed that I picked up my laptop.
So, quickly, I've made a calendar. Started out based on an idea I saw once in PaperCrafts or maybe Scrapbooks Etc magazine using an old CD case. All the CD cases that I have are too thin so I switched up the design.
This is the front.

Then it opens up, the same way a card would, and becomes a calendar. The first side is very simple and has only a clothes pin to hold the month sheet, and the back has a pocket to hold the rest of the months.

All the stickers and papers are from "Fly A Kite" by October Afternoon. I bought the kit for $30 at a scrapbooking store and I've gotten so much use out of it.
For these challenges -
Charisma Cardz. THE SKY IS THE LIMIT.
Paper Sundaes. FINISHING TOUCHES.
The Paper Variety. USE STICKERS.
Craftroom Challenge. HOME DECOR.
Thanks for looking,
Farrah

Well, I'm not swinging from any chandeliers, either (we had Snow White on earlier--hee hee). But I'm so glad I saw your post. Holy cow, Farrah. You are AMAZING! Love the front, love the calendar pages, and I love the whole idea.
