A huge thank you to everyone who joined in the fun at last weeks Kaboodle Doodles challenge!
We've another good one starting today.....
USE GLITTER OR BLING!!! Or combine the two, doesn't matter, as long as it sparkles!!
Our sponser is the fab Digi Doodles Shop and the winner will receive a $10 voucher to use in their store!
I'd like to add that we've changed some of the rules for entering our challenge...
1. You can now enter more than one project, as long as each fits the theme.
2. Feel free to combine with as many other challenges as you want, again, as long as it is true to our theme.
3. NO BACKLINKING to old posts. The card MUST be a new creation.
4. Be sure to link back to KABOODLE DOODLES!!
I really hate seeing some wonderful work removed because it didn't follow the rules!!
Here is my card. I was going for a country-ish kinda feel. All the glitter is that wonderful Glitter Ritz that I purchased a while back. Those little tubes sure go a long way.
Also for these challenges -
Delicious Doodles. CHEER SOMEONE UP
Mami Doodles. MOSTLY BLUE
Funny story about bling for those who care to hear it....
Last weekend I took the kids to a friend's birthday party. It was at one of those indoor play places with slides etc.... Anyways, I ALWAYS goof around a little at these places and try out all the fun stuff. So I went down the twirly slide and it ends in a GIANT, DEEP ball pit. What excitement right?! And my friend's son who's 5 is waiting for me at the bottom and starts throwing balls at me. So in the spirit of things I grab a couple and throw back at him. As one of the balls is leaving my hand I see my wedding and engagement rings slide right off my finger, arc thru the air and land somewhere a few feet away in this massive pit!! Cue the panic!! Took me about 10 minutes of frantic digging but managed to find both my rings!! I must have been quite the sight. I'll be getting them resized first chance I get.
Thanks for stopping by,
Farrah

O wow Farrah, this is sooo beautiful, what a lovely image stamp and I'm so loving those glittered edges...beautiful. You really made me laugh reading your rings story he he :) I was searching a shoe on Friday!! My son's shoe flew off his foot when he kicked something and we had to go searching for it in an abandoned field cos he couldn't find it and he came home with just one shoe!!!
Farrah! This is beautiful! I envy anyone who can sew on cards! I tried it once and it didn't go well AT ALL!
Thank you for the warm welcome to the Kaboodles Team and I'm so pleased to join ya'll!
